My name is painted in gold

“I earned this, I deserve this” so says my soul

I am a legend amongst my pedigrees

I’m a star, fame, stardom!!!

Name it; come on give me your fair description

But wait, please be quiet, hush....

What is this void I feel on the inside of me?

It’s like having an unoccupied, desolate apartment in your heart

Yes, I know this feeling, I have always known it

I’m beginning to get used to it I must say

But, but, but... (Stammering) is there any solution to this?

My heart bleeds vigorously

 If only the blood could flow out so that someone else could see my pain

But it doesn’t, I guess that’s why it’s called an internal bleeding.      

It’s internal, so outside, I put up a show, yeah! a show...

No one can see the blackness within... it’s crazy........

But alas!!! In this dark hour, I see the Sun rise

Hope rises within me

Brightness, greater than a billion suns ablaze

I fell in love with the one who is THE BRIGHTNESS

He told me he will take it all away; the pain, the darkness within....

He performed a surgery within me, oh! He gave new heart

He told me to embrace stage fright

He said he will perform on the stages while I play the background

Now I’m in the backstage while I watch him get all the glory

It’s his stage, I give it to him.
