Slavery

Forced subordination intruding their culture
Agony and pain, along with emotional torture
Stripped of their names, even their honour
Treated not as human but as petty creatures

Who are these people? My Negro brothers
Agonizing stories of our fore fathers
Painful humiliation of our Sis and Mothers
It’s all in the past now, so I shouldn’t bother?
Are you hushing me now? Is that an order?
So-called Superior races committed this murder
Some lived through it but what about others?

This barbarism has being long over
But the participants have refused to be sober
I see slaves all around, when I take a look closer,
I see some who even own range rovers
I swear to you this trade ain’t over
As we walk through life and get older,
We go back into the field to be bonded with the same forever
All for the cash, enslaved to this legal tender

Not the idea of slavery you have right?
But this is war; I swear, it’s a fight
To either live for you, or for the plight,
Yeah, of people around you, always in sight
So while sitting on that table about to take a bite
Let’s think of those who needs strengthen and might
Or those in the dark abyss of poverty without a light

You’re a slave so-far the money is your master
To every beacon call of it you answer
Got stuck with it and it becomes your cancer
Dying of greed and yet it doesn’t matter?

What’s the use of getting rich if you won’t share?
Of stacking cash to be happy, to feel it’s there,
While you kept it, to give anyone else, you wouldn’t dare
And your neighbour has needs but you just don’t care. Why?
Because your master, money, owns you and only him you fear.

So, chains are old school, bills are the new
Many will not like this only a few
But I pass this message to give a clue
Cause the desperate love of money makes you a fool.
If you believe me, then I think we are cool.
This might be tough for you but I beg you to chew
Chew on this truths and I hope you stick to it like glue
